We are deciding to go with a 15 rating film because it allows us to use a strong amount of violence and horror. A 12 will not allow us to make the film as good as it can be and an 18 rating may make the available audience too small and no profit would be made. And when creating a film, profit is the main thing you will focus on. Using the 15 rating means we as a group will be able to produce a good sequence whilst still being able to supply it to a large variety of people. also most horror films are aimed at the teenage populous going for a rating of 15/16 as marketing to this demographic will maximise possible ticket sales.
