Casting Descisions
George Dyke - George Dyke is the killer and torturer in our opening title sequence. We feel that George suits the stereotype of a killer because of a number of reasons. George represents all the stereotypes about killers in films, strong, males attacking the popular people. Because George looks like a normal person, he makes the killer seem friendly and deceiving.
Scott Brown - Scott Brown is the victim in our opening title sequence. We feel that Scott fits the stereotype we are trying to represent with our opening title sequence. Scott represents the stereotype of skinny and white which shows him to be more a weak person and less liable to defend himself. Scott also represents the majority of people who are attacked in films. Since Scott doesn't stand out it also gives the sense it can happen to anyone.
