Sound is very important in the making of a trailer or opening title sequence. It is one of
the key components to making it successful. Sound can add suspense to a scene and make it overall more scary for the audience. If the trailers/ots didn't have any sound they would be very boring as there will be no speech and no action or horror music.

In the trailer above, their is a mix of diegetic and non-diegetic sound. The constant music in the background adds a lot of suspense so it puts the audience on edge as they don't know what will happen or if it is leading up to something. This is very effective. The talking in the trailer also sets the scenario and makes it a lot scarier. We have done things similar to this in our OTS using a combination of both diegetic and non-diegetic.
